Puleng Cadribo

Managing Director

Kikombe Africa founder and MD Puleng, oversees strategies and business solutions.

Her tremendous passion and commitment to make a real difference on the continent led her to found Kikombe Africa. Over her travel years the wonders of the African continent, its diverse and skilled people, and its well-crafted products fostered a need to delve deeper.

A Lesotho and South African upbringing spawned a rich mixed East and South African heritage for Puleng.

Puleng has lived in Johannesburg for 14 years and spent 16 years as a pilot, ten of which were with one of Africa's largest airlines. This experience fostered her problem solving and strategy skills. She has on-the-ground knowledge of Africa, brand management skills combined with a background in economics.

Through Kikombe Africa she uses her skills, sharing her exposure to enhance intra-Africa trade.

Sheila Akinnusi

Sheila is a seasoned marketing, research and business strategy professional with over 17 years in the financial services, insurance and FMCG sectors.

As a senior business professional, Sheila has been responsible for the formulation and implementation of marketing and client management insight strategies for numerous businesses. Her solid business experience has been supported by her strong academic credentials including a Masters in Strategic Marketing and a Post-graduate diploma in Business Administration, among others.   

Sheila’s work has been instrumental in the development of brand strategies; client experience management; customer journey mapping and market segmentation. It is safe to say she is passionate about consumers; marketing and the good that companies can do to serve the needs of society!

Linda is our Media and PR expert.

In 2015, Linda was the only speaker from Africa at the FIPP Congress in Toronto, the largest global magazine conference at which she was also named one of the Top 12 Global Rising Stars in Media. 

Linda is able to translate the business logic required into creative magic.

With over 14 years in the publishing industry, Linda has extensive experience in the realm of content and editorial strategy. Her passion for content cuts through the noise in both B2C and B2B environments for various audiences and platforms. She has worked on titles such as Cosmopolitan, Men’s Health and Sports Illustrated to name a few. She has also been Editor of Jet Club and Edgars Club magazines for the Edcon Group. In April 2014, Linda was appointed Editor of BONA magazine, South Africa’s most read monthly consumer magazine.
